This Notice applies where InquOS orders, recommends or highlights jobs, candidates, pathways, education options or service providers. It must be written from the implemented ranking logic and updated when main parameters materially change.

H1. What a recommendation means

A recommendation indicates that available information appears to satisfy some configured criteria. It is not a guarantee of legal feasibility, quality, suitability, selection, acceptance, sponsorship, availability or outcome. A higher position does not mean that InquOS has independently verified every underlying claim.

H2. Main parameter categories

Depending on the feature, the main parameters may include:

  • user-selected preferences and exclusions;
  • job or service requirements and mandatory eligibility constraints;
  • occupation, skills, experience, education, language and qualification information;
  • location, residence, mobility, work-authorization and start-date information;
  • evidence completeness, freshness, provenance, consistency and unresolved conflicts;
  • organization verification, mandate status and opportunity activity;
  • candidate availability, withdrawal and engagement status;
  • service availability, language, geography, licence or accreditation status;
  • quality, safety, abuse-prevention or relevance signals;
  • commercial promotion only where clearly labelled and lawfully used.

The interface should identify the most important parameters for the specific result and explain how the user can change relevant preferences. The full algorithm, security signals and trade secrets need not be disclosed, but the explanation must be meaningful rather than “our secret system decided.”

H3. Paid influence and sponsored placement

If payment, commission, partnership status or another commercial relationship affects position or visibility, the item must be clearly labelled and the nature of that influence explained. If payment does not affect ranking, say so only after confirming the product and commercial logic. Sponsored visibility must not be presented as independent suitability or legal feasibility.

H4. Anti-ghosting and activity states

State

Meaning

Permitted product treatment

Confirmed active

The responsible party recently confirmed the opportunity or availability.

Normal visibility subject to other criteria.

Needs confirmation

No recent confirmation or inconsistent engagement signals.

Ask for confirmation; show a neutral status; reduce visibility only under published rules.

Paused

The process is temporarily unavailable, frozen or awaiting a material condition.

Stop new submissions unless the user knowingly joins a waitlist.

Closed / withdrawn

The opportunity or candidate is no longer available.

Remove from active matching while retaining necessary audit and historical records.

Integrity review

Signals suggest material inconsistency, abuse or unauthorized activity.

Restrict visibility or access while applying the enforcement and review process.

Activity signals may include confirmations, response patterns, process updates, expired mandates, closed requisitions, candidate withdrawal or other legitimate indicators. Absence of activity is not proof of fraud. The system should distinguish inactivity, uncertainty and misconduct.

H5. User controls and review

  • Allow users to update preferences, factual profile information and availability.
  • Explain why a material result appeared or did not appear at a useful level of detail.
  • Provide correction or review where a factual error, stale status or automated inference materially affects the result.
  • Do not expose another user’s confidential information or fraud-detection method merely to explain ranking.
  • Keep a versioned record of the main ranking parameters and material changes.
